Tyler's mom & step-dad just bought this adorable little house at the beginning of the month.
Before they had even closed on the house, I began envisioning all the possibilities. (Please excuse the use of Microsoft paint for this!)
It all started with re-finishing the original hardwood floors. I can honestly say that I don't know what we would do this ourselves again. But, it is always good to say that we have done it!
As the floors were drying, we worked on other small projects. For example, painting the front door red! It took a little convincing but they are in love now!
We also added some shutters. It is amazing how much these two little things added to the front of the house.
Once we could get back on the floor, then it was time for light fixtures! Tyler put up two ceiling fans.
I put up this light above the kitchen sink.
We took off the old storm door and added an all glass one.
Tyler also put down a new floor in the kitchen.
This was only a small part of what has been done to the house. Tyler's mom and friends have been there week in and week out to help get the house ready. And, soon they will be able to move in! I can't wait to see the finished product!
