Quasquicentennial

This weekend Tyler and I traveled to Nashville to celebrate my mom's birthday, then we traveled to Athens for the 125th Anniversary of the First Baptist Church of Niota. Tyler had the special privilege of giving the history of the church. He is a 6th generation member of the church. He did a wonderful job and I was honored to be there to experience the celebration.

Here is a picture of Tyler giving his part of the ceremony.

Rev. Mike Farmer concluded the service and we all headed over to the fellowship hall for a great lunch. It was a great day and a complete success!
Here's to another 125+ years!

(In case you were wondering what the title means.. Cousin Harry shared with us that it is official name for 125th!)
